Are you a high school student looking for a volunteer opportunity?
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, get experience and give back to your community. Earn volunteer hours through a variety of opportunities with Richmond Hill Public Library.
Please note: RHPL volunteers must be a high school student (Grade 9-12), and must either live or attend high school in Richmond Hill.
There’s a new way to sign up for volunteer opportunities with RHPL!
Starting mid-May 2022, all RHPL volunteer opportunities will be posted on the City of Richmond Hill’s volunteer database.
Begin building your volunteer profile today. Before you apply for a volunteer opportunity, you’ll have to complete the following steps on the City’s of Richmond Hill’s website, which include:
- Build your online profile in the volunteer database
- Attend a Volunteer Orientation
- Submit any required forms as required
- Complete your Accessible Customer Service training
Once these steps are done, you can sign into your account and find a volunteer position that best fits your skills. You can also use the database to sign up for shifts, log your volunteer hours and set volunteer goals.
