Learn to play or improve your chess game. Master the chess moves and learn the importance of each piece.
In these classes, the students will learn to improve their imagination, logic, critical thinking and concentration as well as developing their reasoning skills.
If you are a current chess student at the Richmond Hill Public Library, please consult with the instructor as to what level you should register in for the next session before you register.
Limit of 20 students.
Registration for the Winter session begins on Monday November 27th at 9:30 AM.
Please note that Chess Classes at Oak Ridges will run for a total of 8 weeks (admission cost $75) and will not run on Monday, February 19.
- Tuesdays (10 weeks): January 9 to March 13, 6:15 - 7:15 PM (Register Online)
Mondays (8 weeks): January 8 to March 5, 6:00 - 7:00 PM (Register Online)
Note: There is no class on Monday, February 19.
- Saturdays (10 weeks): January 13 to March 17, 1:30 - 2:30 PM (Register Online)
Thursdays (10 weeks): January 11 to March 15, 4:30 - 5:30 PM (Register Online)
