Over the last decade the Toronto Studio has completed several award winning libraries. The most recent of these include the Orillia Public Library and Market Square, and the Brooklin Library and Community Centre which were both recipients of the 2013 Ontario Library Awards. In the latter case, this facility has become an iconic symbol of community pride, providing a range of library, recreational and leisure services under one roof within a striking urban and natural setting.
The lead architectural team for the Oak Ridges Library building project consists of three members:
Phil Fenech, Principal In Charge: Phil is responsible for management and performance of the project team, consultants, cost control and schedule.
Duff Balmer: Duff is the lead designer, providing conceptual and aesthetic direction through all phases to ensure the vision of the Oak Ridges Library project remains strong and consistent at every level of detail.
Aimee Drimc: Aimee is responsible for the day-to-day activities and coordination of the in-house team and any members of the extended consultant team.
