Ontario Public Library Week

The entire community is welcome to attend Richmond Hill Public Library's annual Ontario Public Library Week Celebration event! Held throughout the evening of Oct. 17 (6-9 pm), please join us for a showcase of the best of Richmond Hill Public Library. The family-friendly night will include a local author book fair (featuring 23 local authors), live art and live music, children's activities, the latest in library technology with LEGO robotics and coding demos, and light refreshments. We'll also introduce our first-ever Artist in Residence, Melanie Siegel!

As well, just by checking out all the activity stations set up around the Library, young visitors can be eligible for great prizes! Young visitors will receive an event passport card when they enter the Library that evening, and can earn stamps at each activity station - if you fill your passport card with stamps and submit your card in the draw at the end of the evening, you'll be in the running for a RHPL prize pack!

The first 100 people who arrive at the event will also receive a door prize! Door prizes will be handed out between 5:45 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
