Welcome to Early Days in Richmond Hill: A History of the Community to 1930. This electronic version of the popular book by Robert M. Stamp, published by the Richmond Hill Public Library Board in 1991, has been designed to make finding information about Richmond Hill's rich history and past citizens easy and convenient for students, genealogists, and local history enthusiasts.

Print copies of the book and its companion volume Later Days in Richmond Hill: A History of the Community from 1930 - 1999, are available for sale at all branches of the Richmond Hill Public Library, the Town Office at 225 East Beaver Creek, and the Heritage Centre at 19 Church Street N.
This project was made possible by the generous donation from Minto Development, the support of the Town of Richmond Hill, and the Richmond Hill Public Library Board.
