The average Canadian consumes about 3,400 milligrams of salt per day through processed food and drinks. Health Canada wants to see this level cut to 2,400 milligrams by 2016. The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada Now Researching The Link Between CCSVI and Multiple Scleros
The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada has now committed over $2.4 million to explore the relationship of CCSVI to multiple sclerosis. Back in the Fall of 2009, Italian Dr Paolo Zamboni caused an International stir with his research on the link between chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency (CCSVI) and multiple sclerosis. People with MS and the medical community alike have many questions but hope that funding will clarify the relationship between CCSVI and the disease and what treatment potential it may offer to people living with multiple sclerosis.
